Just because the tech-policy-industrial-complex is pretty lousy at social media, it doesn't mean that there aren't worthy new communications baby steps by those watching the space. For example, did you know that we now have three weekly tech policy podcasts to choose from?
CNET's News.com's Tech Politics Podcast features old hands Charlie Cooper and Declan McCullagh. Yesterday, they posted an interview with Congressman John Doolittle about the Fair Use Act (which, for the time being, is being used as a counterbalance to potential MPAA/RIAA-pushed legislation).
Geek out with the gang at the Technology Liberation Front while you listen to the Tech Policy Weekly. Jerry Brito, Tim Lee, Adam Thierer and Jim Harper bounce around through the big issues of the week.
Finally, check out the Tech Policy Pod from the folks at Technology Daily. They provide features and updates on big staff changes inside our little niche.
BTW, just because they are called "podcasts", it doesn't mean that you have to listen to them on your iPod. You can also stream them from the Web and, generally, also download them as an MP3.
Hi Sean,
As an FYI, we'll be adding to the podcast possibilities soon...we're going to post podcasts of some of the sessions from last week's Tech Policy Summit in the next few days. We'll notify attendees directly via email but the content will be available to anyone who visits the Tech Policy Summit site/blog.
