The Effects Of Sports On Street By 50 Headphones Health

Conditioning ExercisesWhen you play competitive sports, you have to get into top physical shape to play. Cardiovascular conditioning and strength training are usually a large part of the training regimen. Working Beats Dr Dre out will make you quicker and stronger and give you more endurance. So if you train hard to play a sport for competition, you will likely become healthier in the process. In order to get in better cardiovascular shape, you can run, bike, swim or walk. In order to get stronger, you can lift weights, do circuit training exercises or do push-ups, pull-ups and ab 50 Cent Headphones crunches.

Emotional HealthPlaying sports can be an exciting activity that brings great emotional highs and lows. For example, a baseball player who comes to bat in the last inning with the score tied can become a hero when he gets a base hit that drives in the winning run. If he is successful, the baseball player feels great about himself and that confidence may carry over into other aspects of his life. He becomes a happier and more self-sufficient individual who believes he can get things done. Even if he fails, he faced a tough situation and may learn how to succeed the next time. Playing sports can help an individual become emotionally healthy. Athletes participating in individual sports can get that same emotional high whenever a "personal best" occurs. A runner who comes in 100th in a local mini-marathon may not get a trophy, but if she beats her previous best by three seconds, she knows she is succeeding and getting better at her sport.

Sports RisksWhile athletics are associated with excellent conditioning, both team and individual sports can lead to injury. For example, football is a contact sport that requires hard hitting on a regular basis. A baseball player chasing down a fly ball may run into an outfield fence at full speed and suffer a broken bone or a concussion. While basketball is not a contact sport, two players who bang into each other going after a loose ball or a rebound can suffer serious injuries. Tennis players can experience serious knee injuries, with so much starting, stopping and changing of direction involved in the sport. In addition, the constant stroking of the tennis ball can result in elbow injuries. Runners are at risk for leg, knee and foot injuries from the pounding their lower bodies take.
