Michael Arrington and John Edwards in more communicative times.
Okay, they aren't really being asked widget questions, but close. Uber-Silicon-Valley-blogger-of-the-moment (and reformed lawyer) MIchael Arrington is taking a pause from his daily TechCrunch assault of Web company/product news to enlighten readers with interviews with the presidential candidates. Most of the questions are tech policy related and are generated by reader input.
He's done Mitt Romney, and a John McCain interview awaits us on Monday (Update: Here is the McCain piece). He is currently calling for reader questions for John Edwards. However, Edwards doesn't have the time to do a live chat. Instead he is responding to the questions in writing. And, if you've ever worked on a campaign, you know that this basically means that, very soon, an over-caffienated, under-fed 25-year-old staffer will be doing Wikipedia research on spectrum allocation as he types up the response to TechCrunch.
Apparently, Edwards has given up his strategy of using impressionable tech bloggers to help him curry favor.
