Here's Cuban prepared testimony. He says that "not all tech improves with age, anymore" and asserts that the consumer Internet will constrain the economy in the future unless there is a major broadband upgrade to fiber.
Cuban says that Network Neutrality goes away as an issue if there is a enough broadband. Says a highway system with 100 lanes doesn't need an HOV lane. Current design of the net will not deliver HD. That's laughable.
Says P2P tech won't deliver high-quality Internet delivered video. Creates inefficiencies and shift costs to consumers of video.
Concedes that there is a PC-platform video market, but it is only complementary market -- not a primary market.
